When was the last time you opposed the majority? Better yet, when was the last time you wanted to voice your opinion, but didn’t due to fear of rejection or it not being the most popular thing to say?
Enter the Silent Opposition.
It’s been my experience that there’s always an underlying opposition to a popular belief or idea. This opposition may be voiced by a small group of people, but it never reaches the vocal majority. I often find myself in such a situation.
To get my point across, I’m going to be short and blunt.
It’s not to say that I don’t care about societal issues, but on the contrary. I have a deep sense of societal issues and am quite empathetic, even to a fault. But, I find it necessary here to provide a voice to the Silent Opposition. The Silent Opposition is silent for a reason, after all.
I’m going to rustle feathers with this one, perhaps even pluck a bird or two. If you are easily offended, stick around. You may learn to appreciate a viewpoint that is not your own.
Men and women have the ability to bring a new human into this world. With great power comes great responsibility. If you have the choice over who and/or what lives and dies, you become the alpha and omega. Choose wisely.
Over 50% of marriages end in divorce. And if a marriage were to last, there’s a less than 1% chance of being happily married. The track record for marriage is absolutely abysmal. Perhaps same-sex couples can set the record straight. Biblical marriage is between a man, woman, and God. Anything other than this is not a biblical marriage.
There are two genders just like there are two sexes. A male can be feminine and a female can be masculine. There are valid reasons to have sex reassignment and hormonal replacement therapy. However, this affects an extremely small amount of the population and must be treated on a case-by-case basis and never be forced on children.
A man who transitions to a woman has the characteristics of both a man and a woman. Don’t be surprised when this person dominates their sport due to their natural masculine abilities.
The wage gap does not exist due to sex and gender alone. Women tend to be more agreeable and will often not fight for a higher wage, which men frequently do. Women tend to choose careers that pay less than those of men (e.g., nurse vs. engineer). Men have a burden of performance and do most of the dangerous jobs garnering a higher wage.
The topics discussed are up for debate as there are many facets to each one. However, at the end of the day, I find it’s best to have a general sense of what you believe to be correct and to share this with the world.
If we continue to keep our thoughts on hot-button topics hidden, there’s a good possibility we will continue towards debauchery.
